Palantir is a rapidly growing consulting and software firm that provides leading edge economic and planning solutions to the energy sector and beyond. This position is available in London and in Aberdeen; a willingness to travel is essential.

You will work closely with a dynamic team of international consultants, to develop clever and practical solutions for economic and planning groups in the oil and gas business. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Performing or advising on the economic evaluation, decision analysis, and business planning activities for our clients.
• Delivering software solutions and technical studies conform to the customer needs and objectives.
• Developing and cultivating long-term relationships with clients that ultimately enable the fulfilment of the client’s business needs.

The skills needed for this role are:

• Quantitative skills and an analytical mind
• Thorough understanding of petroleum economics
• An aptitude for economics and strategic planning
• Expert knowledge of Excel when used for economic and financial models
• Strong personal skills

Additional preferred skills:

• Programming expertise with Visual Basic (VB or VBA)
